Discover Heirloom-Designated Cacao Farming
​in the Philippines

Helen Milgar Caintic and her husband of Helen de Vista Choco Farm from Concepcion Monte Vista, Davao de Oro, Philippines purchased the cacao farm from her father-in-law in 2014.

The farm, once lush with cacao, coconuts and coffee plants, was devastated by Typhoon Pablo in 2012. Helen and her husband grafted the three remaining cacao trees that are dated to be over 300 years old, and were able to get them producing again by 2018.
